I’M HURTING WITH THOSE WHO HURT.
‘With tender humility and quiet patience, always demonstrate gentleness and generous love toward one another, especially toward those who may try your patience. ‘ Ephesians 4:2
I can’t even believe this is happening AGAIN. Just weeks ago, a young, black human being was hunted and killed. Now it’s George Floyd whispering “I Can’t Breathe.”
I can’t even imagine if George was my own brother or family. I would be OUT OF MY MIND LIVID. I would be ARMED AF and dangerous as well. I hate watching 💩 like this. It’s like week after week another black life is evaporated because of white people acting the f out.
Where is the love when we need it? Where is the gentleness in all of this?
Yah sure, you can tell people to love one another but DAMN, George was murdered in cold blood. What sort of “protect and serve” are police being taught these days?
I hate seeing all my black friends in agony over this — it PAINS me to the core. I F’N HATE IT. They didn’t do ANYTHING to deserve this disrespectful treatment and to be honest, a lot of the reason is white people being jealous and filled with pride.
I’m weeping with those who weep and mourning with those who mourn.
Love becomes all things to all people.
Love is eyesight to the blind.
Love is a voice to the voiceless.
Love is tears to those with tears.
Love is caring for the disenfranchised.
Love is putting your shoes in those of another.
Love is believing the best of all colors of people.
Love is overcoming evil.
Love is protecting the innocent.
Love is serving the servants.
Love is standing for those who are crushed.
Love is justice.
God please help us. Please humble us all and bring peace. It’s our only hope.
