I Have a Gift, Now What?
“As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” I Peter 4:10 NKJV
First of all, thank God we have a gift.
Whatever it is.
You have something
I have something.
The question we must ask ourselves is, what is it?
How do we identify it?
How do we grow it?
What I love about this scripture is when it says we should “minister” our gift to one another. Another version exchanges the word “mjnister” for “serve”.
So how are we serving others with our gifts?
Do you encourage others?
If that’s your gift, use it.
Send a text or call someone today.
Is your gift empathy?
If it is, use it.
Share it.
Do you have a leadership gift?
Do something withit.
Be a steward of your gift today.
Whatever it is.
Use it.
Share it.
Serve it.
Right now.
Today.
The more you use your gift, the more it can be filled up again. Like 6:38
“Give generously and generous gifts will be given back to you, shaken down to make room for more. Abundant gifts will pour out upon you with such an overflowing measure that it will run over the top! Your measurement of generosity becomes the measurement of your return.”” Luke 6:38
